I just got married this past October to my very best friend, Brandon. He is the love of my life and makes me the happiest girl in the whole world. Brandon teaches me new things every day which keeps our relationship alive and full of new surprises. I have one of our favorite pictures below.
When the time came to discuss where we wanted to go for our honeymoon, I said Hawaii while Brandon said Europe. Brandon has traveled around the world since he was a little boy. The furthest I have ever been is Florida. I never had a passport while Brandon is now working on his third. I really didn't know what I was missing.
It had always been a dream of mine to go to the Eiffel Tower because I thought it was just the most romantic place ever. Did I think that's what I would do for our honeymoon? Not in a million years. After sitting down and talking about our options, we decided that it's time. It's time for me to experience something new...something like Rome, Florence and Paris!
Brandon had been to Europe many times so he knew what to expect. Me? I had no idea what to expect so it was all very exciting. Before we left, he gave me a journal to take and write all about our European adventure together. Brandon could not have given me a more perfect gift. This journal is what sparked the idea for me to blog. I want our family and friends to be able to read about our honeymoon and see why it was hands down the best two weeks of my life.
